Brandon Burton, Principal
BIEC’s Principal has been an active member of the restoration community for more than 30 years. A passionate advocate for technical truth, he has been celebrated and awarded as a highly professional and proficient trainer, Standards volunteer, mediator, facilitator, subject matter expert, speaker and technical writer. Brandon has provided expert witness, training and consulting to the restoration industry for more than 20 years.
Throughout his 30+ year career in the restoration industry, he has worked to support rapidly developing technology and industry best practices, with a passion for promoting the restoration industry’s continued growth and professionalism. Brandon is an approved IICRC instructor in the categories of Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and has provided training and consultation to more than 10,000 industry professionals. He currently serves as the Standards Chair for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), a standing member of the RIA/IICRC/AIHA Crisis Response Joint Task Force and is a past member of the RIA (ASCR) Restoration council. Brandon’s professional roles have included the Technical Director for Legend Brands, Training Director for the Restoration Sciences Academy, and the Vice President of Technical Application for Cotality (CoreLogic, Next Gear Solutions).
